Help Rebuild SCC's Student Emergency Fund

Published: 06/24/2020

A choice between paying for tuition or for necessities like housing, utilities, medication, or transportation is a choice many of our students now face, and it's why the SCC Student Emergency Fund is so important at this critical time.

Established in 2011, the SCC Emergency Fund provides one-time financial assistance to students in crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted many of our students’ lives and has added to their financial need. While we are grateful to be able to help our students, the fund has been impacted tremendously.

We are asking our alumni and community to help rebuild the fund for future students. Even small donations can make a big impact on a student's life!

DONATE TODAY

Thank you for your consideration as we continue our mission of helping students complete their education successfully during these unprecedented times!

Students are awarded a maximum $500 award and apply through SCC's Office of Student Life. Funds funds are paid directly to the service provider. The SCC Foundation is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization. All gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by the current law. SCC's Student Emergency Fund is separate from the federal emergency financial aid grants available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
